Our traditional 200-hour teacher training is a Yoga Alliance-approved curriculum that focuses on all 8 limbs of the practice including adjustments, alignment, anatomy, philosophy and basic Sanksrit vocabulary to teach an all-level Power Yoga/Vinyasa Flow Class. Upon completion of the 200-hour curriculum, students have the option to continue for additional 100 hours, for a total of 300 hours. While most students complete the training with a desire to teach, regardless of the outcome, the training is an empowering experience of self-discovery physically, emotionally and spiritually. Students are required to read several books and complete written homework. 180.5 contact hours, 32.5 non-contact hours.
*Please note, 300 hours are required to teach at Hilltop Yoga. Upon completion of the 200-hour training, students will have the option to continue on for $500 to receive the additional 100 hours needed.
Advanced Intensive 200-Hour Teacher Training: September 3 through November 21, 2010. Fridays (5pm-10pm), Saturdays (7am-noon) and Sundays (7am-noon). *There will be two weekends off, dates TBA.

Also a Yoga Alliance-approved curriculum, the advanced training covers adjustments, alignment, anatomy and Sanskrit vocabulary for more advanced postures and sequencing. This training focuses more deeply on the philosophy of the practice with more in-depth reading and essays. 186 contact hours, 32.5 non-contact hours.
